Quota and commission plan consulting · with Jeff Randall and Dane Logan
Stop fighting your quotas and commission plan all year.
Guarantee: a plan ready for approval, or your session fee back. The guarantee
- Faster than on your own: two sessions, not weeks in a spreadsheet
- A more solid plan: every option tested on your numbers, with us asking the hard questions
- The step before your commission software: we help you choose the plan; your software runs it
$4,950 when your free call is by December 1, then $7,500
The problem
What each session fixes.
Your reps do what the plan pays for. We take each problem on its own, in its own session.
You may see
- The rep with the big territory wins every year, and the rest stop believing they can
- Last year plus a percentage, so your best rep gets the biggest jump and reps hold deals back
- Quotas that don’t add up to the company number
We fix it: quotas that fit each territory, add up to your number, and have a reason for every move.
You may see
- Two reps hit 100%, and one earns far more
- Full commission on renewals reps barely touch
- No plan for the reps who earn less, so good reps leave
We fix it: the same paycheck at 100% for the same job, real upside for reps who beat their number, every option priced at miss, hit and beat before you pick, and a plan for every rep who earns less.
Fix one without the other and it doesn’t hold. A good quota on a bad pay plan still pays for the wrong things; a good pay plan on bad quotas still rewards the territory. See every option →

What you get
The best plan out of all your options, and the confidence to roll it out.
- See your options side by side. Every way to set quotas and pay, tested on your own numbers, with what each one does to your reps. See the options →
- Work it through with us, and talk it through before you commit. Thinking about a big change? Test it with us first: what it costs, who it affects, and what could go wrong.
- Equitable, and it still pushes reps to sell. Every rep gets a real shot at the same paycheck, with the reasons written down.
- Ready for the hard questions. Who earns more, who earns less, the top-rep conversation, and what to say when reps push back.
- Ready for your 2027 sales kickoff. Everything you need to announce the plan and run the meeting.
Kickoff-ready

The guarantee
A plan ready for approval, or your session fee back.
Send the prep on time, and have the person who approves the plan at both sessions. If you don’t end up with a plan ready for approval, tell us in writing within 14 days after we send the recap and written plan, and we refund the session fee. The optional $1,000 prep isn’t refunded once it’s done. “Ready for approval” means the written plan, a Leadership Summary and a page for every rep, on your numbers. It covers the plan, not sales results. Full terms
Why the guarantee: a plan you can’t take to approval isn’t worth paying for.
